Abstract
Sinyo'e betel nut coffee is an herbal-based beverage product from Jurung village. The basic ingredients of Sinyo's areca coffee consist of young beans and coffee beans that have been processed into powder. Sinyo'e Pinang coffee business has been operating for 2 years and the product is still in the stage of introduction to the local community. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the business model that is applied and formulate appropriate alternative business strategies. The method used is a descriptive analysis of case studies at Sinyo's UMKM, data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies, while the analysis tool uses a business model canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis. General description of Sinyo'e Pinang coffee business is explained descriptively by describing the existence of resources and business performance. The results of the evaluation of Sinyo's Pinang coffee business model with the canvas model business approach that the business model used today is still quite simple, so that it requires improvement of almost all business elements. Appropriate business strategies in the value proposition segment coupled with product customization services, channels strengthened by providing websites, optimized customer relations by giving bonuses and creating communities, developing network activities for key activities, key partnerships coupled with cooperation with government and using shipping services, adding modern tools and recruiting new workers to key resources, increasing revenue streams by marketing products of various types of packaging sizes, also adding costs for customization to the cost structure.
