UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Toko Pelawan is a honey business with a brand image. Although this business has been run for a while, it needs improvements and innovation. The challenges it faces include ineffactive strategies and the growing numbers of competitors who sell similar products. The purpose of this study is to 1) identify the business model applied in UMKM Toko Pelawan using the approach of nine elements of business model canvas, namely customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationship, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key patnership, cost structure, and 2) formulate the best strategy for UMKM Toko Pelawan to develop its business model canvas approach. The method used in this study was qualitative analysis consisting of descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The result suggested the UMKM Toko Pelawan possessed nine elements of business model canvas. However, its business model has a weakness, wich give room for improvement strategies from business model canvas such as hiring more agents, adding the types of honey sold, adding honey combs, creating a more attractive and comfortable shop, producing members cards, increasing business capital, modifing the apperance and adding size variations for the products, conducting training for members of staff, and have a written legal copperation with other parties.
