Abstract

Production fluctuations that occur in mung bean plants in Indonesia cause a decrease in the availability of mung bean. This research aims to find out what things can affect the growth of green beans in order to produce plants with the best production and maximum yields. The use of the best mulch and the right spacing are the benchmarks to determine the response of plants to the two treatments. The research will be carried out at the Experimental and Research Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, University of Bangka Belitung. The experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors. The first factor is the spacing (J) 2 levels: J1 = 40 cm x 15 cm, J2 = 40 cm x 20 cm. The second factor is mulch (M) 3 levels: M0: No mulch (control), M1: Silver black plastic mulch (inorganic) and M2: Imperata mulch (organic). The results of these two factors will be used as a reference in making research reports. There will be a response that gives the effect and growth results of the two existing treatments.
