Abstract

PT Menara Cipta Mulia owns a tin mine using underground mining. In current mining activities, PT Menara Cipta Mulia intends to analyze the stability of the tunnel as the main access to ore mining due to frequent landslides. The rock formations in Adit Penyubut are breccia and limestone, where from the mine opening to 160 m in the form of corrective rock and 180 m to 400 m in the form of limestone. The main access area for ore mining at adit pinning is 1,000 m2. This study uses Q-system classification at 21 points along 400 m and then calculates the surface tension of the tunnel and its supports. The quality of the rock mass of Adit Penyubut is "Good" with rock class "B". The Q-system average value is 11.758. The buffer recommendation based on the majority Q-system classification is Unsupported. The average initial stress addition to the inverter is 947.87 MPa, the vertical in situ stress is 96.721 MPa, the horizontal in situ stress is 96.721 MPa, the radial stress is 138.62 MPa and the tangential stress is 2.5598 MPa. The maximum stress on buffer I is 4.593 MPa, buffer II is 4.210 MPa and buffer III is 6.124 MPa.
