Abstract

Sharia bank is a bank that runs its business activities based on Islamic principle, and by type, they are divided into sharia commercial bank and sharia credit bank. The concept of sharia bank is an alternative option for customers who want a banking activity based on Islamic laws, which prohibits riba’s or usury. One form of bank financing based on Islamic principles is murabaha financing. In Islamic Jurisprudence, the murabaha financing is a certain form of trade in which the seller include the cost of acquisition of goods, including the price of goods and other related costs incurred to get the goods, and the desired level of profit margin. The success of a financial product in the market is heavily influenced by the acceptance of the product by the consumers. Surely, the costumers will purchase and consume a financing product that fist their needs. Therefore, this research objective is to determine whether the murabahah financing product that fits their needs. Therefore, this research objective is to determine whether the murabahah financing system affect the consumers’ perception. The total number of research sample is 186 people, chosen using random sampling method. The data used in this research is primary data, which is the research data obtained directly from the original source in the form of answers to the questionnaire.The research results show that the murabahah financing system positively and significantly affect the bank consumers perception. The value of tcount of murabahah financing is 19.827, while the value of ttable for the degree of freedom is 1,9784. Hence, the tcount is bigger than the ttable. The coefficient of determination indicates that the murabahah financing system variable influences 7,51 % of the consumer perception, while the rest is affected by other variables. It can be concluded that the murabahah financing in BPRS Bangka Belitung is one of the bank products that receives considerable amount of interest at the BPRS Bangka Belitung.
